Important Disclaimer for Pathology Laboratories & Diagnostic Establishments

Veridexa is strictly an administrative software utility. It is designed solely to format, digitally present, and host laboratory data and reports online. Veridexa does not perform, verify, validate, interpret, certify, or approve any medical, pathological, or clinical findings. Every laboratory utilizing this platform assumes full liability for its medical findings, report validity, doctor credentials, legal registration status, and regulatory compliance.

1. Scope & Nature of the Software

Veridexa operates solely as an administrative and report hosting platform. The software assists laboratories in formatting and digitally presenting laboratory data provided by the laboratory into downloadable report templates and secure online report pages accessible through public URLs or QR codes.

Veridexa does not:

  • Conduct laboratory testing or analyze biological samples.
  • Interpret medical or pathological findings.
  • Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
  • Verify the correctness or authenticity of reports.
  • Act as a licensed pathology laboratory or healthcare provider.

2. Responsibility for Report Content & Accuracy

The pathology laboratory, clinic, diagnostic center, or medical professional using Veridexa (the “Laboratory”) retains exclusive ownership, responsibility, and liability for all information uploaded or entered into the platform.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Patient information and demographics
  • Test values and observations
  • Reference ranges and comments
  • Doctor signatures and credentials
  • Laboratory branding and uploaded assets
Liability Disclaimer:Veridexa, its owners, developers, affiliates, and operators shall not be held liable for any typographical errors, incorrect medical values, diagnostic mistakes, clinical negligence, treatment decisions, report misuse, or any damages arising from reports generated, hosted, or distributed using the platform.

3. Legal Licenses, Registration & Credentials

By creating an account on Veridexa, the Laboratory represents and warrants that:

  • The establishment possesses all required local, state, and national registrations, licenses, and permits necessary to legally operate diagnostic or pathology services.
  • Any signatures, stamps, or credentials uploaded to the platform belong to qualified and legally registered medical practitioners, pathologists, or biochemists authorized by the relevant medical authority or council.
No Duty to Verify:Veridexa is under no obligation to verify, monitor, investigate, or authenticate the legal validity, medical qualifications, licenses, registrations, or credentials of any laboratory, doctor, pathologist, or platform user. The Laboratory remains solely responsible for its own legal and regulatory compliance.

4. Data Privacy & Patient Information

Laboratories are solely responsible for obtaining all required patient consent and ensuring lawful handling, storage, and sharing of patient data under applicable healthcare and privacy laws.

Veridexa acts only as a software and hosting provider and does not independently review, verify, or medically interpret patient information except as technically necessary for platform functionality.

5. Public URLs, QR Codes & Service Availability

Veridexa may generate public URLs or QR codes for online report access. Laboratories are solely responsible for sharing such links only with authorized individuals.

Veridexa does not guarantee uninterrupted access, uptime, server availability, or permanent storage of hosted reports and services.

6. Prohibited Usage

Users may not utilize Veridexa for:

  • Generating fraudulent or forged medical reports.
  • Unauthorized use of doctor signatures or credentials.
  • Illegal medical practices or impersonation.
  • Uploading unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.

Veridexa reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in suspected abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, or violation of these Terms.

7. Indemnification & Limitation of Liability

The Laboratory agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Veridexa, its developers, owners, affiliates, and operators from any claims, liabilities, lawsuits, penalties, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Reports generated or hosted through the platform.
  • Medical decisions or treatments based on such reports.
  • Regulatory violations by the Laboratory.
  • Unauthorized or unlawful use of the platform.
Limitation of Liability:In no event shall Veridexa’s total liability exceed the amount paid by the Laboratory for use of the platform during the preceding three (3) months.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the platform shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Uttar Pradesh, India.
